Type - Vertical Boiler with Three Cross Tubes
Size - 3' Diameter, 8' High
Capacity - (estimated at) 250 lbs/hour
The vertical boiler came from a Pork Pie factory at Meltham, Huddersfield. For some time it was used to provide steam for the stationary engines at Top Forge.
We are no longer able to use the boiler as it no longer has an insurance certificate and to regain it would prove very expensive.
