Additionally we have included a copy of the 1983 edition of the Wortley Top Forge Guide Book, with only minor modifications to the text.
Since this edition was first published, the then chairman of the Trust, (Mr. Stanley Speight), has sadly died, whilst on the site other buildings have been erected and fitted out.
All photographs, maps and illustrations have been omitted, as many are old and out of date.
Colour copies of the guide book, with card covers, are available from the shop at the Top Forge Museum.

In the future it is hoped to include the text for a self guided tour of the site, that can be printed out and brought along if you visit. A virtual trip is planned for this site.
