If you walk out of the gates of Wortley Top Forge and a short distance around the corner, you would find it hard to believe that you were standing in the middle of what was once an area of major industry.
We think these are sufficiently important and interesting to be included in our Web Site. Some of these industries are, or were closely linked to Top Forge, some are too important to the area to be ignored while others have something of a novelty value.
