Two industrial locomotive stand between duties in the Coal Yard
Cement products are despatched by both road and rail, but the location of the site in the Peak District National Park means that road access is limited.
Purpose built locomotive 'Blue John' hauls trains between the main Sheffield to Manchester Railway and the Cement Works. As well as a driving cab at each end, the locomotive has radio control.
