In order to restore the 4 Bearing Surfaces on the Crankshaft (to which the Flywheel is attached), the assembly has been mounted in temporary bearings mounted on the support frame of an unused pump. The assembly is rotated at slow speed by an electric motor and gearbox and under constant supervision, while grinding paste is added to the bearings which also contain emery cloth.
